The muse wont even clobber me over the head~EEK!!!

Well I have come to a point with butterfly, where the muse is just not striking, hitting me over the head or anything else. 80) actually my thoughts keep drifting towards a new story I began during an extremely emotional state, LOL! and the hateful hero keeps intriguing me LOL!

The funny part is I have the ball and the following chapter completed *EEK!!!!! but my goal was to postpone that for at least two more chapters, preferably four...

But with things coming to a very heated point at the ball I want to explore some of the missing characters, touch a little more in depth on the double a team. Just cant seem to get them to want a story, LOL!

Thanks very much to the hated hero I am trying to write, jerk keeps popping up when I try and sit down to make edits and write on Butterfly. I havent fully decided on if I will play this one in game and post, for it is way more um... graphic and um... um... very language heavy, completely different for even my writing style. Maybe that is why I am so stuck on it. 80)

I have completed chapter 13, I have gone completely from the original story now.... Although will keep certain things in it, but I am enjoying this version so much more...

So if any one has any suggestions on how to get clobbered, or any ideas for what I should maybe do next it would be greatly appreciated...

There's no real way to get 'unclobbered'. I had the issue of another story clamoring for my attention a month or so ago. It was so bad I didn't even -want- to think about WoS. So, to get it out of my mind, I wrote a small bit of it and suddenly, I could think and focus again on WoS.

Maybe you just need to write some of it out and then you can focus on Butterfly again?

I enjoy having more than one story going on.. lol

if I get stuck with one, I will just go take a look at the other one and see if the change helps a little... most of the time it does help... but it also happens that once I go back to a certain story, I just can't focus on anything else! :D lol

that happened with the lover, I was writing 2 other stories, but I couldn't get the lover out of my head... and it took around a month or two to be able to focus on something else...

but having two stories, do helps, lol at least to get distracted...

anyway, take your time and take it easy! :D

Thank you so much!

Yeah I do have to be honest just since friday I have managed to get 40 typed pages... LOL!!! so I think I will focus on that and once again my other story is falling to the way side along with butterfly. *Sigh, I guess I will post 13 sometime this week and hopefully by working on it something will come out.

Not to mention the new lot I am building, Ack! I dont even want too think about it... And I need it...

I have a writing folder in my docs. That is filled with those type of stories.

So I am being struck by the muse she has just come in all together different package, LOL!

A good long break always helps me Cherie, from writing anything. As you know, I went weeks in between updating DO sometimes! I just put it aside and focused on something fun for a while until I felt refreshed enough to get to it. I will say this though, finishing something lengthy like that is one of the best feelings ever! (And there were so many times I doubted it would end!)

Anyway, that's what I do when I feel burnt out, go for a walk with the dog, go shopping, whatever is distracting from the pressure of the writing.

I agree with Sandy, I thought having two stories on the go would be difficult, but I find when I am stuck on one, I go visit the other, it works!
Freshens the muse and I find I am able to go back to the story I am stuck on.

Emily has a point too, sometimes a break from writing altogether is the best thing! That too, ca be a refresher!

Thank you everyone so much!

Yeah I am thinking of starting a second story in Sims 2. Have an idea but it isnt written out so I will take it chapter by chapter.

And the darned muse hit me not ten minutes after I got to work, LOL!!!

I think I know what to do, just do not know if I can get it out before this weekend. 80)

I get intensely interested in going in directions that seem off base or disconnected with what I should be writing. I think you did the best thing -- you just did it. Sometimes changing the point of view helps me if I'm stuck on a scene and just absolutely cannot force myself to write it.

Thank you Beth,

Normally when a character starts ruling my thoughts, I have to write them out or else they will just sit there screaming for attention. LOL!

So this Jerk, and I mean it, his character is a real a double scribble h-o-l-e got 40 pages and a girl, LOL! just hope it helps his attitude a bit, LOL!

But he's gone now so back to butterfly and the Double A's. 80)
