Weathering the storm...
So much has happened this past year. Things that are painful, heartwrenching, enlightening and just general.
I have become a woman in more ways than one and know without a shadow of a doubt that I am strong!! Forever will be...
My writing though has taken a definate turn for the worse, too much going on in my head to allow for the characters to speak to me. I can barely focus or find time to read and went through what is it four months without internet!!! OMG!!! that sucked LOL!
But after the storm there is always a rainbow and my rainbow just happens to be the wonderful man that came out of nowhere and swept me off my feet...
The unexpected friendship(s) that have developed as I have come to meet and know his people and of course the most important!
The understanding of myself...
Do I want to go through these things again? the good sure but the other stuff, being hospitilized nearly undergoing a nervous breakdown and the subsequent fact that I am one of many being laid off from my company due to federal cuts to funding. NOPE! but just like everything else I will survive.

It's official... My marriage is done and I am happier than I have been in along!!! time... I feel bad because its apparent that there is no salvaging the friendship that used to exist. Truthfully it's better that way. Still I am not so upset that I am hiding in a corner crying and shit, this is a cross road for me and there have been some moments of ups and downs but when it comes down to it, I am better off.

There comes a time in everyone's life where they have to make a choice that they may not want to make. A choice that will forever change their views opinions and outlook...

Me I have taken a long ago needed step, done something I should have done years ago. Do I miss him? Truthfully no I dont, because the man I grew up with, fell in love with and knew disappeared a long time ago.

I listen to all types of music, and I heard this one on Pandora the other day and the words just fit 100% This Girl is Long Gone!

News and a bit of the blahs

After three pain in the a double scribble re-installs of the sims 2. One in part because Geek squad didnt do the OS install properly so when I got my beloved DT back from the doctor everything went bonkers. :) I have completed it once more, I am crossing my fingers that just as with my job the Third times the charm :)

So as you can see I am working on an update for DE Jay's gotten a slight makeover and so has Manny! I dont know if I like this hair on him though XP oh well I have half the screens written.

Issue is though, the entire chapter is gone all my work has randomly disappeared from my external hard drive and from my computer well probably because I just got it back about two weeks ago. :) I have even checked my email backups and it isnt there, that or I am not finding it so I will continue to search and if worse comes to worse I will re-write it. :(

So that in conjunction with the heat lately and everything else, I am suffering a major case of the blahs... Blah to writing, blah to playing... Probably attributed to the fact I just had to re-install again for the third time and lost half of everything. Including Carters house and a couple of special lots I did for people :) and a big blah today, I MUST CLEAN MY HOUSE and I dont want to, I just want to crawl under the covers and fall asleep without dreaming of Federal Directives!

Nothing like a Department of Labor Directive to give you the blahs LOL! although I cant complain to much I love my job but SHEESH! 17 pages of triple columned size 7 font would turn anyone into a blah addict.

Anyhow enough rambling here, I just want to let you all know that I will have an update hopefully within this month and if things continue to go well for me perhaps even get back into a more timely set of udpates :)

Like the tides Life ebbs and flows...

Ok I have been really out of it lately in all aspects thanks in part to home life being rather hectic and well pained. Now I am not one to really air my laundry or life but I figure what the hell I have a blog so why the fuck not?

Wednesday of last week my very unstable relationship took a turn for the uh well I suppose the better, I am experiencing life as I should with no stress, and believe me there is no stress...
Strain...
Anger...
or
Sorrow...

I am taking a few weeks, months, years to myself trying to get everything sorted out, figuring out just what I want in
Life...
Love...
and
Self!!!

So far all I know is I want to be alone, find myself again and enjoy just being me... and I am... Times are interesting, will things work out to the best advantage??? I dont really know right now...

* I do know I dont want the bullshit that has occurred in the past...
* I do know I dont want to lose the person who was my best friend for 16 plus years...
* I do know that I am willing to release if they arent willing to meet me in the middle...
* I do know I dont want to continue living in misery...
* I do know I dont want to make them miserable...
* I do know that I love the person I knew once upon a time...
* I do know that I want to be published someday...
* I do know that i want to be happy...
* I do know that I dont want to be involved in a relationship with anyone until I know myself again...
* I do know I want a family...
* I do know I want love and respect...

and last but not least

* I do know that in the next two to three years luck willing I will be taking a month off and travelling (OMG) to Scotland and maybe Ireland where I plan on resting and cogitating, hey maybe I will find a gorgeous, loving scottish lord who will be intrigued by my American status and I will get to do nothing but sit at home writing for the rest of my days, while he does the dishes and cleaning LOL! Just Kidding... I am not ready for a relationship...

So I do know a bit and hopefully as some of the doubts subside and everything begins to ease I will be getting slowly but surely back into myself and sims writing...

Re-installing

What A pain in the ass! I have some corrupt file somewhere within my game that wont allow me to even access the game. It gets all the way to the neighborhood screen and crashes and it's taking 45 minutes to load and I dont have nearly as much CC as I did with my other computer. Plus the townies all show up with white hair with numbers in it and black blue and purple skin. I have removed everything and it still happens. So final result re-install...

Thank goodness I have saved everything I've downloaded as a winrar pack so I dont have to hunt all over the place for everything again. But still the fact of the matter remains, I have to re-install! WAAAHHH!!!

Oh well off to get this shit over with.

Cherie is poking her head out from under RL for just a minute with an announcement.

Since the book has changed and is going in a completely different direction and I would much rather eliminate as much confusion as possible I am closing down Dark Eyes book 1 Blog permanently. The story has changed taken on a whole new dimension, Thanks again Drew and Lachesis for your help so that I could get this all together. I'm not just dealing with Vampire's anymore but Gods and new creatures etc, I just don’t feel that the old story really pertains to the new direction.

Both these Vampire Story’s are an excellent read and will leave you waiting at least in my case impatiently for the next installment. As well the three of us are having fun doing a three way conversion of sorts. Characters from each of these stories are bound to make guest appearances and to really get to know them it would be best to hear their voices from their talented authors.

Awakening

I'M OFFICIAL!!!

I just got the best news today! I finally got my six month review, a month and three days late LOL! but I have successfully passed my probation! I am official to my position although I could suffer consequence if I mess up to badly!!!

YAY! I can finally take a day or two off without repercussion! and I can finally use VACATION TIME! seeing as how I have 110 hours saved up, from all this because I cant use while on probation and I earn five hours per paycheck EXCITEMENT!

Not to mention the nice raise too! 80)

ISSUES

Ok so I have installed all my damned games on my laptop but my sims arent showing up, etc and neither is my CC so I must re-download all of it, which is to be expected no matter how many back ups of my Downloads folders I may there is always files that dont come through.

If I cannot get lydie's sim pack to work I will have to re-create her, several characters in fact will have to be re-created so they may very well look different. 80(

My Baby.... My beautiful sweet fast running Desktop has finally taken its final crap, so off to the PC doctor it goes. Although I am worried after all these bad reports I have been hearing about Best Buy and Geek Squads taking your computer and not fixing it then trying to get you to upgrade!!!

Any how on that note I am fighting my hubby for the Laptop which I finally got and it is nice, issue 1!

I have to re-install all my games on this!

Issue 2!
I have lost a bunch of new lots I was in the process of building, because I couldnt do a back up not to mention several of my sims that I was unable to export because of my game and computer...

What this all means!

I will work on a DE update but cant guarantee anything at all, depending on how the LT handles the games. 80)

Worse Case scenario I will finally be caught up on reading if they dont work, unfortunately I am facing another re-install when I get the DT back...

Any how nuff said there, I am trying to get caught up on everyones!!! updates, unfortunately life has decided that I must be Florance Freud on top of everything else, and I am on my last week of PROBATION! Crossing my fingers, I think I have it but you never know... I will take it as a good sign that my supervisor ordered my business cards, being I cant until after probation and they hand chose me for a High Priority project. After the last one I didnt bother volunteering then again they didnt bother to ask. I got an email around christmas saying Your it, focus on this and that was that. LOL!

I do love my job and as this final week is starting to kick off I am increasingly nervous, until HR comes to me and says that's it your official I am going to be chewing my fingers to the bones, LOL!

So I probably will be on even less this week but swear I will try and get caught up on everything soon! Perhaps Flo Freud can have a much needed breather today??? probably too much to ask in my household but a woman can hope right? LOL!

Ok so I am working on a DE update... I will have it out this week no matter what, just have to get all the screens finished. (Yeah yeah I know yeah right, right?) LOL!

I am truly working on an update and will have it out by this weekend. One more read through/edit on the writing then I need to make sure that all the pictures match up probably need to take a few more. Which brings me to this...

The doctors finally decided that surgery was the best option for my husband. He went through it on Monday and provided his body responds the way they want... I am hoping he will be home tomorrow or friday. Which means I am going to be offline for about 6 to 8 weeks. He cant do any stretching, lifting or straining for at least six weeks, which means I am going to get stuck pretending that I am some sort of Florence Nightingale. Me who gags when a cat hacks up a hairball... LOL! But I want to be there for him and it's why I am doing it. 80)

SO this will be my only update for at least another month to month and a half when I get it finished. I will still be reading, and hopefully commenting as I should... If not I really am reading just dont have the brain power/function to comment... So please dont take offense. 80)

My life is a crazy 5150 Government Cheese experiment right now LOL! JK! I am handling it, just have alot to look at, accept and swallow. 80) teaches me to overload my plate. 80)

A woman's Purse (Question/Funny)

This is just a funny discussion, one I laughed about quite a bit and got me thinking… LOL! Hubby and I had a really good conversation on this particular subject and I thought why not? What are other’s purse thoughts, feelings/habits? (My sense of humor is seriously dry and I swear I am not losing it) LOL!

As a woman who has carried a dainty, adorable or just generally cute purse since I was but a girl, because my gram and my mom did I have learned how to efficiently become a purse pack-rat fought through the years to avoid the half your body size bags that said individuals carried....

The point to this whole post is well… My husband and I were having a discussion regarding my ‘Wallet’ aka portfolio.

“The chaotic, only you know where anything is?” item… (husbands actual quote)

There is a place for credit cards, a place for a note book and of course hidden spots everywhere meant to transport files, documents etc. But the best part it has a zipper so I carried everything I needed in there, many times to the point the sides were bulging. Now because this item was far too large for one of my purses and had all the functionality of one I quit going between my four or five color coordinated bags. The first sign of purse ratting…

Still I disillusioned myself into believing that because it did not have handles it was merely a wallet…

After uhm… I would have to say a year of not being able to carry a purse let alone wanting to after my surgery, I began to feel that all too feminine, familiar feeling of having a heavy bag pulling on my good shoulder and low and behold my anniversary gift at work was.

A TOTE!

Spacious, room for everything... (Oh God! I am officially my mother and every female preceding me in my family of Purse-Ratters…) now did I think of this uh when I got the bag?

Honestly no…

I had my pretty, shiny, alluring new black bag…

My inner female urges to carry around a bulging bag have finally been quenched, this thing is so large I needn’t worry about not being able to carry my writing pads, my unmentionables, gum, smokes (Yes I picked back up smoking after a year) current book I am reading, lunch and a binder for other writing. I actually still have plenty of non bulged room to add in extra’s like the front pocket where I store all my necessary items that I need easy access too, reach in pull it out and viola I have the item in question. A pen/pencil pocket plus two side pockets, one mesh that stretches to accommodate the always necessary bottle of water or much to my own surprise lately root beer. The other is stiff but holds the face plate to the truck stereo and my special glass cleaner for my anti glare (currently broken) glasses. 80) Plus it has a nifty little elastic zipper pull in which I have found a perfect use for! I have now instituted my rituals, every time I get in and out of my vehicle after only two months of owning said item.

It used to be my keys got dropped into it, or the supposed wallet but most recently since I actually locked my keys in the truck for the first time ever! They are clipped to my bag, then the faceplate gets put away.

Now here is the question, I have become so accustomed to having this huge diaper-esq. bag with me what would happen if I tried to carry one of my dainty can’t fit anything more than perhaps a pack of gum and a credit card purse???

Husband seems to think that it would blow up miserably… LOL!

Personally I think it wouldn’t be that bad, I would just be missing all the extra space and would be once again carrying around armloads of extra items… LOL!

What are your purse habits?

Does everything you own, find, kids etc give to you get lost in a bottomless pit AKA purse? Or have you managed to cut out the purse ratting?

Do you Carry a bag, a purse? Is it small, medium or large? Or do you prefer to keep everything in a portfolio (Wallet)

Announcement and Apologies

I am still here everyone!
Just wanted to let you all know that I am still reading, please forgive me for not commenting or posting anything other than rants, raves and all together crap. 80) I just like to give it my all, in truth I have been rather blah lately, tired from work. not to mention all that is on my plate at the moment. So what RL is a bitch, so am I lol! at least when I get cornered, I will ride the lightening bolt and yee haw all the way. LOL!

I am fully prepared to return in full force in January or whenever my computer gets back from the doctor. Hopefully before the end of December, and had to pay a bill so I dont have my Lap Top yet... Pooh... I really need some retail therapy, LOL!

Random mumbles here,

I have been working full force with Butterfly which is no longer butterfly I am hoping to eventually get it finished for prospective publish, I am doing well with the first draft of the re-write. somewhere along the lines of 42,800 words so far 80) granted that is still needs some smoothing in the long run. 80)

So anyhoo enough rambling now, I am letting you know just because I havent really been commenting but sporadically does not mean I am not reading, but unless by some miracle I get my LT before next weekend I will be computerless other than at work, since brother broke his. 80( So I really wont be around much during December. 80( other than at work and as many of you know unless there isnt a warning on your stories I cant read them.

Ok I think the title says it all but sometimes I just have too... Long night 1 hour 45 minutes sleep plus have to work today, everything is crumbling around me... SO I am doing what I know how to do, I am bitching about it. LOL!

But I found this while looking for a fitting post... To bad MIL doesnt have a pic I could post... I mean truly must these wonderful additions that you inherit to your family, the moment you marry take control of everything when you are just trying to let them know what is happening. Ok now I am seriously starting to get irked, so what happens if the worst comes to play. WHat then will she step up and try and take everything I have worked so hard to earn??? Alright no need to answer or even read, I am just fed up...

Plus I came home for lunch to find my dog piddled on the floor. She's three years old and knows better. Probably upset because neither of us was home. *Hum*

The Good News

I have a good chunk of Dark Eyes written, have taken over half the screens needed for Jays update and think I am nearly done Transposing.

As well I have had a release of sorts and have had my nose stuck Literally in re-writing butterfly totally for publish. 80) Someday I will get around to finishing off Butterfly blog wise. I am sure there are a few out there interested. 80)

I am getting a lap top!!! SQUEAL!!! Early Christmas birthday present of sorts! and it is decent not the greatest graphics suck so it wont really be for gaming but it will be good for writing. 80)

Bad news

I am not going to be posting to DE anytime soon. Perhaps after the holidays maybe a bit sooner. I really want to take my time and make sure this is good and quality. 80) I will keep everyone informed. Plus I have a few more things set up wise that need to be done. 80) This means... GASP I may actually just have the time to get caught up on everyone's stuff. I know I have been out of it lately, just trying to get back into the groove of things.

As many of you know my husband has been battling some issues over the past year. and well this weekend we got some really bad news... How it is going to affect me I dont know, but I am grateful to at least have my stories and my blogmates. 80) I will be strong it is the only thing I can do.

Half month of Hell Day 13

Ok So I am still buried under files, working like a mad rabid chicken to get through all of this, with the ever looming deadline approaching. I have had to break down and plead with co-workers to help me. 80) with some of the easier things...

Okey Dokey, pressures on!!!

I have read everyone's update but I am still out of it, so exhausted by the time I get home and the carrier monkey from outbreak, as I have decided my little bro is, has managed to get me sick in the process... So yeah not fun at all when I have to explain programs etc to crowds of 30. 80) But I am doing it and I am making it...

Just a random update while I break away from Manilla folder cuts, staple munchers and massive amounts of paperwork. LOL!

One more session today, then one more on THURSDAY!!!! I can hardly wait! But then comes the joy of catch up! with all the files that dont pertain to this particular program... Geesh! that will take me a week!

Two Weeks of Hell Day Two!

LOL! Ok so I opened my big fat mouth and VOLUNTEERED to take on a specific set of sessions for a program we have. Little did I know that it would entail two sessions per fortunately one was cancelled today. 80) I can breath again, and I have a deadline of 10-18 to get 200 participants in to my supervisor, not to mention the current tower of 48 files that I have to make calls and send letters on. LOL!

I love my job, I love my job... *Yeah keep telling myself that* LOL! just kidding, well at least I am handling it, but I am not going to around much during probably the next two weeks. Actually longer my computer is going to the doctor this weekend... And I am a bit afraid to touch my brothers, he has a cold and I really dont want one! 80) then again I have plenty of lysol...

Being the story line has changed... *wrings hands* Still it should be easy enough to follow and the conversion shouldnt be too difficult to understand at least I hope not.

It is what I have been up to these last weeks, 80) working out all the fine details etc... Setting it up and writing in the new characters. Writing out the old that I no longer wish to deal with at this time and boy oh boy is Formerly Chapter 13 now Book two Chapter 1 going to shock! well maybe not so much, LOL! but there is alot thats a changin 80).

I will be setting up an alternate blog, well actually blogs... That will host the new story line, complete with character interviews/bio's... Damned Jay really lit into me on that one, LOL! Descriptions of my new "mythological" characters... That I am sure no one has ever heard of... Well simple enough terminology so many may have since they are actual words just with my own nutty twist 80).

PS if anyone has any suggestions as to how to add the read more option, I have tried following the danged tutorial and it never NEVER works! along with a good layout complete with links that will allow me to do small photos that open up when you click on them so you can read? I would love it!!!

PSS my POS computer, Poor Baby! well it is really acting badly now so I am going to have to take it in to the doctor soon. Which means I will be offline for a good 3-6 weeks while it is being repaired. My only access to internet will be from work, but then I cant read any of the stories with warnings up... They block that sort of thing. 80) so I will fall even further behind in my reading than I already have. Hmmm perhaps I will steal the little bro's. LOL! it would serve him right after what he did to my baby...

Then after that comes the whole re-install, finding any CC that I had being my computer refuses to write to a CD and the External HD is a bit more expensive than I can afford right now. Housing is due this check, and I am worried that the next check may be to late...

Lydie's chapter is posted! this means the end of Dark Eyes Book 1. Yeah...Yeah...Yah... LOL! how can one end a book after 11 chapters, LOL! well it is because I have decided to change the storyline. 80) I havent changed the original plot or anything but I have figured out where this particular story is taking ME! LOL! Never thought I was a fantasy type but this particular tale has definately told me otherwise.

It is still an outside of the box story, still something I am not accustomed too but I enjoy it and am having fun with it so I am going to explore. 80)

I dont know when the next will be posted, could be a week, two or a month or more, especially since I havent officially returned but I wanted to get this one out of the way. Next will roll out the new story line complete with the new characters!

Not officially quite back yet (we’ll see), 80P
But my hiatus has done wonders to help me decide which direction to go with Dark Eyes, after writing tossing, re-writing, tossing and so on it goes. Now I am slowly but surely catching up with everyones updates haven’t necessarily commented as yet. I have been and still am pretty brain fried. 80) Emily and Phoenix, you are up next!

Chapter 12 should be up within the week, still haven’t figured out the song or the title although I am thinking along the lines of riders on the storm, LOL! Don’t knock me and my love for a band I will never in my life be able see. Dangit… LOL!

Several characters will be undergoing some minor changes Jayden already has thanks to Lachesis having told me about a great tutorial on how to create your own tattoos Here and since I was in bodyshop I figured what the Hey, might as well fix all those little things that were driving me bonkers (THOSE EYES) LOL! I have lightened his skin and made a few changes to his face, nothing too drastic I hope, but those EYES! lol!

Next there will be several new characters joining the cast, some will be making interesting changes and will Lydie and Jay ever get back together again??? I have been discussing some possible crossovers with Drew’s Dracula’s Diaries DD Now Closed and Blood Brotherhood Here there for you may just see a character or two that you recognize, when, where or even if, we shall see 80). I am truly excited to roll this out, introduce all the new characters, as well as another particular mythological esque creature, and hopefully keep you all wanting answers, possibly even answer a few 80).

Unfortunately Rourke didnt make the cut this time around, at least not with the direction I have decided to go although I think I have come up with a fitting end to his creepy dream cruising simself, and dont forget to check out the new Blog where I will post a dictionary of terms, Bios and more. Including name pronunciations, since I am such a stickler on such things 80)... Hopefully this will help to explain my crazy thought concepts and make a bit of sense, LOL!

With chapter 13, focused on Jay and his emotions, a glimpse into his past etc. The new story line will roll out. As I said I think I have found a direction I want to go, although, LOL! I never thought myself to be into the fantasy realm, but with so many great authors out there now, including many of our own members and non members how could I not fall into its allure? 80)

Thanks to you all for all your support, your reading and most of all the wonderful community of friendship. 80) Once again I do not know how often I plan to update especially with needing to get my computer into the doctor. But I am going to try and get at least one update every two weeks and again must re-iterate this is a challenge story for me, but I would like to think that I have at least done it a little bit of justice 80)...

Just a couple miscellaneous announcements,

One meet a new character to Dark Eyes, I am not giving much away on him other than the fact he is fallen... Not by choice and has a major role in a certain characters life. LOL! 80) Meet Xavier, yeah yeah I am so un-original when it comes to names, LOL!

And I realized just now I havent posted here yet,

I am taking until most likely the end of October to re-center myself in regards to writing, but more importantly in regards to my recent promotion. Although I am picking everything up with ease and am way ahead of the game there is so much to be done... I am up at 5:30 every morning and in bed by OMG!!! 9 in the evening, I havent been to sleep that early since I was in kindergarten! LOL!

Still it is well worth it, I have an issue dealing with heavy freeway traffic, dont know why but I cant stand it, so it is worth it... Plus I am learning all kinds of new stuff so my brain is full of different policies, procedures and grants... literally no room for my story writing... I am still reading everyone's updates just not quite commenting yet, basically too tired to come up with something that sounds remotely understandable, LOL! and with my nose stuck in various web pages and grant books etc... Well I can hardly understand my own thoughts, LOL! Gotta love a new job!

Now it could be less time than October, but I am thinking I may very well take it just because and for all I know I might extend it just a bit once everything is finally settled. If that is the case then I will step down if others of the SWA wish it, but I really dont want to lose being a member of this group. 80) Besides RL always come first. 80)

Just some random mutterings of an overly burnt out brain, lol! But hey my INTERVIEW went GREAATTT!!!

For those of you who read Butterfly (BAtT) you know from my last post that I am for lack of a better way to put it BORED and downright STUCK on where to go next. So in an attempt to renew my enthusiasm for the story I started reading through the original work...

Well I will say this, I have decided to start editing it, as I feel the desire of course. But I have gone a completely different direction with the blog version than what I initially wrote. Hooray... As well I am at over 62,000 words and have 117 pages, YIPEE... NOT!!! So I think I am going to actually try and get it published... Especially since it is so different from the original, that is if I can find an agency willing to take it. DEFINATELY romance... and not like what I have been publishing. I am estimating once I finish converting it from first person *shudder* that's all characters! to third person and I add in details etc it will be well over 100,000 words...

And for the Dark Eyes fans, a pic of what is too come... Where is Lydie, LOL!

Only took me 16 hours. Between yesterday and today, although I procrastinated on housekeeping... LOL! Just a couple of beach shots, not highly edited... Not yet anyhow but I loved these two and am too tired to work on the rest.... I am not posting yet on my Photo blog, especially since the new members dont have access... (If anyone wants access please feel free to email me)

I love how the water was pulling back, giving just enough glimpse of the sand (gravel) and the illusion. Bodega Bay is my absolute favorite place! used to go there every weekend as a teen and have um... Bonfires... Yeah that's all... Roast marshmallows... Beer... and just general fun! Even the rangers were cool with us (10-12 years ago) now I dont think so much, my little bro told me he and his friends were booted. 80)
I am a bit disappointed with the flowers they were to light and the sun was shining on them but I love this shot... Looks great as a Desktop too!

BAtT characters Revamped

As you all know I have had to re-install my games which means I had to recreate the cast... Still have to rebuild as well.... GRUMBLE!
But this has given me the excuse to make some changes to my characters... Minor although still...
Sophia has got new eyes and skin tone... Plus I thinned down her mouth a bit

Ava and Catherine got new skin tones, I thought Ava looked a little too yellow before and for some reason she comes through in the sims pack but the skin tone wasnt. Dont know why. As well I thinned out her lips Catherine got a new skin as well and I shrunk her eyes just a bit.

Alex is all the same with the exception of the skin and eyes, oh yeah hair too! I think he looks better now.

As well will be going out of town for the weekend so will catch up when I get back 80)

Thanks to my younger brothers attempt at being kind... He tried to download a Torrent of M&G (If I really wanted it I would buy it) well when he installed it he didnt back up any of my files, so....... I have had to re-install everything, because it didnt work... Thus my having lost several of my characters.... Arianne comes to mind first of all....

So! sad to say, I have to try and find Wilshire manor again that is a pain in the a double scribble, Try and rebuild Marianne's lot and then there is the whole!!! hassel of recreating all the families etc... Oh yeah and charles and Margaret will be moving again.... (SCREAM)!!!!!!!

All this thanks to my lazy butt not doing a weekly back up of my folders... And the fact that my D.S. Brother (Trust me I am not happy) didnt know to back up before trying to install. I cant fault him for trying to be sweet and all, but word to the computer wise at least thought concept wise....

Ok I think I am done ranting about this... Just wanted to let you all know, Never allow a sibling to live with you, LOL! especially if they believe they are more intelligent about computers... nah... New Story Idea

Ok so I can hardly keep up with the two I have going now... But I have this story idea that is just driving me mad... So I think I am going to start working on it... Will take a couple of weeks, and it is certainly more in my genre...

Victorian Era~ Romance... I am going to allow my uh... romantic explanations a bit more freedom this time. Although I still dont feel comfortable taking the screens of those bits. 80)

The train whistle blew long and loud as it pulled away from the station, causing her to jump. Vivienne could hardly believe that she had done it, yet her heart still worried. What if her parents found her, forced her to return? surely she missed her home, her priviledged comforts. Still not enough to ever go back, which is why she had scrimped and saved, stolen the fine silver to fund this little venture and taken the job as the governess to the wealthy farmers children.

Jonah and Meredith raced down the dirt street, a cloud of dust billowing behind them as they hurried towards the station. Father would certainly be displeased that they were late to collect the governess. "Come on Merri, hurry up for I dont desire a whoopin tonight," Jonah called over his shoulder. Using the last of his energy to sprint forward.

"I'm hurrying, I really am!" Meredith breathlessly hollored back, her lungs burning from the exertion. "I just hope she isnt as mean as old lady Beck," she muttured under her breath, silently praying their new governess would allow them this one fault....

Absolutely random and mundane news,

I guess I am just buzzing... The muse has struck me, more aptly decided to repeatedly beat me over the head and force me to pound out a whole crap load of DE stuff... This last chapter although not exactly what I would have wanted actually gave me a point of direction. Hurray!!! and I have all the shots for the next chapter and possibly unless I decide to force upon you all an extremely long one, at least half to 3/4's of Chapter 8 as well.

Then there is that all around wonderful glow! the best feeling in the world is having your co-worker pull you aside and tell you not to where those pants anymore because they make you look like you've got a load in your pants. I know it sounds rude, but she meant it in the best possible way, as well she gave me a new "Sexy" suit... LOL! So I tried it on and although I avoid vanity it felt good to actually look good in it.

SO I tried on a bathing suit I bought last year in hopes of fitting into come summer... No such luck and low and behold IT FITS!!!! Yet another strike to the self esteem. I have successfuly lost 65 pounds, and am only 30 away from my wedding weight, Oh how lovely that would be to be back at a 7... Granted no one can believe that I was as heavy as I was. Height certainly helps...

Only bad news in all of this, I absolutely cant come up with anything for butterfly and lost all my "HANDWRITTEN" pages for the next chapter, that I hadnt typed up as yet. I have a bad feeling when my brother cleaned up the other day he threw them out. My fault for having left them sitting on the floor beside my computer I suppose. But the dang cats kept knocking em off... Hopefully I will find them again and be able to get the same release that I got from DE and soon...

Ok that's the end of my random mumblings... at least for now, hopefully I will have a DE update in the next couple of days... 80)

What do you do when you get the pure black screen?

I have been trying to get into my game and it loads all the way into the neighborhood but when I select a lot to visit, even without the CC it loads and goes into a pure black screen and just stays like that. Does anyone know what I can do to repair this? Hopefully without having to re-install my games.

Thanks to my B-Day my husband and I are having a few friends over tomorrow for our first BBQ, something we do every year, weather permitting, So I really should have thought of it.... I feel like I have been in the kitchen since I got home 5 Hours ago, LOL! I am making my Homemade Fajita's, so had to make the marinade then had to make the GasPatcho??? I am sure I spelled that wrong.... Not to mention salsa(Perhaps I should say Pico de Gallo, lol) and Guacamole, LOL! So my BAtT update will not be at least for a couple more days... So I leave you with the new banner ( I do not care for it much, but it's better than the last) Working on a couple more now...
and a couple previews too. LOL!

Update should be in a couple of days and I swear, I have read everyone's updates just need to sit down and RE COMMENT!!! I swear Bloggergeist hates me... Everytime I leave something it erases.... *Grumble Growl* That or gives me an error... I am starting to think my computer is having a fit too.... LOL!

Ok so rather than work on my next update! Completely anyhow I got side tracked. I didnt like any of the dresses for a wedding dress for Ava so I tried (I use that word carefully here) to create one of my own. It's not to bad I suppose, If I knew how to make bump maps I could probably make it a bit nicer....
So since I wanted to check out my handiwork I went ahead and did a small photoshoot of the happy bride to be, LOL! 80) Enjoy!

I think she looks kinda pretty. I worked really hard all day cutting bits from here and pasting there and lining everything up...

This is by far one of my favorites... Oh yeah I changed her makeup a bit too... Not loving the lipstick though... But her other one just wasnt doing it for me any more...

She looks almost pensive, nervous; Then again she does have a good reason to be!

As well just wanted to let you know I have chapter 22 & 23 complete and am half way through 24 of Butterfly. Just need to edit them and take the shots... Will try and get an update this weekend. I really found I missed this story line. 80) although I am considering tying it up here soon. If I can... So many loose ends I need to tie up first. and there is a possible Dark eyes update as well I have an idea... LOL!

Finally!!! an Update to Butterfly!! Decisions

It is a bit shorter than my usual, but it was the best I could get out. As well I had way to much fun with Photoshop, don't get to used to the maddening effects I used, LOL! I was just playing around... As well I didn't spend to awful much time editing so it isn't really one of my better chapters. I think I actually have a thread and an Idea so I wanted to say there should be a Butterfly update within the next 1-2 weeks. Hopefully by this weekend, no promises though. 80)

Picture has nothing to do with the chapter I am just playing around with my newest toy, LOL! Finally broke down and got myself Photoshop... An early Birthday present if I will, LOL!

We'll see if it works, I had to buy Cs3 from Amazon, apparently it is a full 'Unused' 'NEW' version but I have purchased stuff online before and didnt get what I wanted. This is my trial version. Geez it's different from Paintshop.

Although when I emailed Amazon they assured me that whatever I purchase should be exactly what it states.... 80)

I am doing a bit better, not much but still every little bit counts. 80)

Ok so I am not exactly a health nut but I do love GREAT!!! tasting food and I am not much for actual hamburger So I came up with this variation, TURKEY BURGER! Granted I am one that has pinched my nose and gone running for the hills in the past in regards to ground turkey, LOL! Still when I was trying to lose weight, I decided to give it a try and this is what I came up with... Hope you all will enjoy!!! (Bacon not considered fat free) 80)

Turkey Burgers Serves 7

What's Needed.... (EVERYTHING IS TO TASTE, use your own variations)
Salt and Pepper to taste (I am a huge fan of Sea Salt)
1 bag of San Luis Sourdough (thats what I use)
Butter (Lightly Spread over Bread)
1 Medium Clove of Garlic (finely diced)
1 Red Onion (1/4 will be used) finely diced
2 Packages Ground Turkey (I use Jenny-O, at least I think thats the brand) 80)
1 Package Tillamook Sliced Swiss
1 Package Thick Cut 'Farmer John' Bacon
1-2 Tomatos
1 Head of Lettuce (your choice) I use Romaine
The usual condiments, (I use Raley's brand Spicy Brown Mustard with Horseradish)
1 Tablespoon Dill Weed
1 Teaspoon 'Salt Free' Lemon Pepper
1 Teaspoon Garlic Salt (I use McCormick) 80)
1 1/2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Cut 4 Pieces of Bacon in half and cook to your taste, (Always place in cold pan, it helps to keep it from curling)

Mix Turkey, Onion Garlic, Olive oil and spices in a bowl and make into patties.

Cut slices of bread in half and butter one side,

Cut Veggies 80)

When the bacon is done, Cook the Turkey Patties in the grease, (It's only partially fat free) lol!
Burgers are done when the juice runs clear,

Place 1 slice of cheese on top of each patty along with one piece of bacon and cover (turned off) pan until the cheese is melted.

Final prep
Broil (butter side up) Bread until golden brown, Unless you like your toast burnt 80) lol!

I always broil the other side as well, but thats me, cause I like crispy bread, LOL!

Now serve!!!

This is a really easy recipe and actually pretty quick too. Plus it is mostly fat free, Swiss is naturally fat free....

I really hope whomever makes this enjoys! Surely it isnt unique but hey I enjoy it. 80) and the hubby and bro too!!! (Their red meat fanatics)

I am going to be starting a new blog eventually... As a matter to keep myself occupied and my mind off other things. Dedicated to houses!!! Being I love to build and decorate 80) and it does help a bit.

Where I will take requests for houses and offer some of my custom creations as well for anyone interested. Of course with CC I will have to contact the creators and request their permission to do such, although I doubt the TSR creators will be willing to allow me to. But the goal is to provide mostly maxis and mostly all free content.

As you all well know my husband is in need of a Liver transplant,
I am extremely dissapointed with him because he has given up his will and has begun to go to his friends and come home WASTED!!!.
AND somehow in the process I have become everyone's garbage dump, if I say anything to his side I am selfish and selfcentered,
Say anything to myside and all I get is be strong for your husband and a string of poor me's from in regards to there own issues.

Now my job is in jeopardy because I had a mild yet still! nervous breakdown!!! couple that with stress induced high blood pressure and stress induced insomnia and anxiety attacks I am now facing a "talking to" from my manager and supervisor. Actually just waiting on the super now. Manager actually understands and is willing to work with me.

I am just really venting, having a very difficult time handling all of this, mostly because I dont have anyone to support me, (I am not asking for it) I just need to get it out.

I also want to say I am actually caught up on everyones updates, just with my head spinning so much I have not been capable of commenting. There is a severe lack of focus for me.

Just wanted to let you all know I am still here and see that I have a LOAD!!! of catch-up reading. Which hopefully, "No Promises" I should get to this weekend. I am looking forward to it, just been really busy and enjoying sitting back and ACTUALLY watching some TV and spending time with the Hubby.

Oh yeah my collective contribution may be up this weekend, if I can get the gumption to load up the game. Although I got two more GB's for my computer so I tested it and the game loads in 5 minutes now (Hooray), and an hdmi cord! The screen is so clear now! not that it wasnt before, LOL! Gotta love HD!

The only thing I dont understand, and maybe someone will. My computer stats/functionality were at a 5.9 (I have vista) now since I installed the extra memory it's a 4.9 Go figure... But ok... 8-S and I have the 64 bit.

Hello Everyone,

Firstly I want to thank all of you for reading and commenting on my stories. I appreciate all of the support and patience in this extremely trying time for me. *hugs to you all!

Now,
I have reached an all time low. With everything going on with my husband I am reeling... I cant focus on anything and have been extremely depressed for the last couple of weeks. I dont want to bore you all with the details nor do I want to vent on you either, besides I cant really explain how I am feeling, knowing what I know. So I am going to take a few months and get back to 'Me', spend some time with my husband and enjoy the time we have. Try and get some sort of control of this bitch of a disease!

I am truly stressed, frightened and strained. Both sides of our family seem to be loading brick after brick upon me, I am having to deal with my hubby and myself all by myself. Which is contributing to this emotional pitt.

I am a bit worried in terms of what I have come up with for Corinne, and would like someone to review if anyone is interested. Another reason why I am taking a step back, when I write it feels really dark to me. Which is fine on one hand, but extreme is extreme. At least Jayden is getting some attention.

I will continue to read any updates and hope that I will still have a place with you all when I have beat this shit!

As well I have been in the rare moments of clarity taking photos and working on the next two updates for Butterfly and DE. Dont know exactly how long it will be before they are posted but they will be up soon enough.

A much needed Break

Definately 18+ my romance writing has certainly come out in this one and there is some nudity as well. *chewing finger nails* I tried to keep the romantic explanations to a minimum, so hopefully no one will be offended.

Although I do have to say I am not happy with the writing in this one, it certainly is not my favorite chapter. The pictures gave me fits too. LOL! Gee when am I ever happy with an update. Slowly Recouping

I am just posting to say that I am still here. Just been really swamped with RL and a new project at work. HOORAY!

I have had to delete the entire Wilshire village and completely remove Desirada valley, which means I have to recreate all the sims, and two of my lots have decided to give me nothing but errors. The two main ones. Lorenza manor and Wilshire manor. I have utterly no clue as to why so I am going to just try and build sets. For the next screens. But this is pushing my next butterfly update way back. 80)

As well my newest character has hijacked me!!! To the point I cant seem to write anyone or anything else so I am just sitting back and taking a nice long breath... with the hopes of being able to silence him! lol! Maybe if I dont write about him he will go silent??? I hope, lol!

Part 2 to the Ball is posted. Although I am not necessarily happy with this one. It is much shorter than previous chapters and I have had to cut it short due to my game giving me fits! So I will work on getting the next few parts out slowly but surely as soon as I can keep my game up and running. As well my editing techniques leave alot to be desired. So sorry that it isnt better.

This will be my last post for a few weeks, and once again I chose to go with the larger screens. Especially being I went with them in the first part of this piece. Will also be working on a size that isn't totally overwhelming for me.

Thank you Beth and Gayl for the advice on the screens, especially in regards to conversion to JPEG. It helped the upload time greatly.

A day in the life of A public Servant!!!

Alright so I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, and it just goes to show that you should always try to laugh. LOL!!!

This morning, around 9 I got a general phone call about, a guy wanting information as to what types of services we provide at our office.

Perfectly normal situation, I explained our services everything else answered any questions he might have.

After about 5 minutes on the phone the guys says

"thank you miss you have answered all of my questions and been of great service to me..." ok so here's the fun part,

I said your welcome, and he replies.

"Ribbit!"

I would have sworn I was hearing things but he kept going. "Ribbit, ribbit ribbit," LMAO!!! actually no ROFLMAO!!! and then he just hung up. The funniest part is he had a really deep voice, and my random question on Google blogger is how I would like to live my life as a Frog!!! 80)

I stared at the dead reciever for about 10 seconds before hanging it up and literally running to the back of the office to die laughing.

Well now I will walk by someone and say ribbit, or they will say it to me. LOL!!! It has really taken on a life of it's own. Who knows what ailments this guy suffers, but he certainly perked up my mood... So thank you mysterious frog guy, LOL!

Just thought I would share my fun venture as a public servant.

Moral of the story, when you're in need of a laugh someone will happily oblige. And this is the life of a public servant! LOL!

It was certainly a much needed laugh, especially when I have been running on angry over my game etc. 80)

Taking a break from the Joys of the Game~80S

While trying to be in game for longer than a few minutes I decided to quell my fear of Marianne and Henry creating hideous children...

Same for Catherine and Franklin... So enjoy the unborn babies of the two couples. I would have had some from Ava and Alex, but everytime she went to have the baby the game crashed... Go figure, lol!

I didnt save so the girls are still pregnant, I just wanted to take a break of whimsy... Up next possible spawn for the Double A's, LOL! I am sure Alex wouldnt mind... LOL!

Actually I am rather surprised, normally I Have hideous Monkey kids... LOL! Enjoy

Evelyn Grant ~ daughter of Henry and Marianne Grant, LOL! looks like Mary's stuck for another go round here with Henry. LOL! Evie got her fathers eyes color and shape. Mothers mouth and skin tone.

Toddler~Ok so I have absolutely no idea why her eyelashes are so off... At this point I am getting alittle worried about the turn out of the girl. *chewing fingernail* LOL!

Child~*Breathing a sigh of relief* Evelyn is a rather decent looking little girl, poor thing has her dad's nose though. 80D and still the eyelash thing...

Teenager~*WHEW!* the eyelashes are normal now!!! and she isnt looking so horrid, although that shnoz, new I should have edited Henry's a bit. LOL!

Adult~Ok in general Evelyn is not that bad looking... Especially for being born in game to two other sims, Marianne who was born in game and Henry who is an combination of his mother and father in Create a Sim.

It is my personal observation that those usually end up creating hideous children... And I actually see a bit of Charles in her too!

Completely different combination here. He got his mothers hair and eyes and fathers skintone and mouth and nose. Those darned grants and their oberwhelming nose, LOL!

Toddler~At least there is no eye lash thing happening with this young man, and he is such a happy kid...

Child~Looks like he is getting his hairstyle advice from Uncle Alex, LOL! and this is what the game assigned him. I think he is rather decent looking. and I am noticing the chin too, must be a grant trait.

Teen~ Hmm, not bad but certainly not great either... Poor children they have their father's noses...

Adult~ Now, I am completely surprised, Isaih turned out really well... for yet another in game born. Catherine was a Custome of mine and Franklin is the same as Henry, I used Create a sim made their parents and then made a baby, LOL!

Mostly because I want to get all of the ball finished, and in so doing will be in game quite a bit and have figured out the more I try and minimize the greater the risk of my game crashing. LOL!

Well I have completely lost my mother board on my computer and therefore have to take it into Best Buy tomorrow. ACK! in order for them to restore the system because my dumb butt didnt write the back up disk. Meaning I will lose all of butterfly's files.

Thank goodness I have a few characters on TSR, but this means that my next few updates will be most likely within the next month possibly longer being there is no way unless I pay 300 bucks for a backup copy of files, that I will be able to retrieve the anything from previous. *Screaming and pulling my hair out!

Then have to rebuild lots, create another ava, catherine franklin, henry so on so forth. ICK!

Hopefully everything will be resolved tomorrow morning, and I will have my baby back, OMG I have lost all my Roejena files!!!! That I paid for.... Crap.... I am so desolate right now 80(

HOORAY! only one more chapter until we get to the ball ;0) Although this one is certainly not my best, once again could not get it to flow well, at least to me and I the ending is literally brand new... Plus my game decided to terminate so I cut it short... ACK! but oh smell, LOL!

Now I need a nice long... hot... bubble bath with a bottle of vino, or some frozen... Well I would just feel like I am copying even though it is my fav. WHIP CREAM, LOL!
